The EAR2001-HC HELMET COMMUNICATOR is designed for use with protective head gear of all types. Whether it's a Snow Mobile, Motorcycle, or Bicycle helmet, if you need it's protection and Two-Way radio communications is a requirement in a noisy environment, the HELMET COMMUNICATOR is the answer.

Helmet Communicator

A helmet kit is installed inside the users full face or open helmet. It consists of a tiny noise canceling boom microphone and an audio jack for the connection of noise attenuating ear molds.

The entire helmet assembly plugs into the Two-Way radio (PORTABLE OR MOBILE) harness which has a velcro Mounted or Ring Style push-to-talk switch attached to it.

The Helmet Communicator combines the protection of the Helmet, the hearing protection of the Ear molds with crystal clear communications over your Two-Way radio system IN A HIGH AMBIENT NOISE ENVIRONMENT.

PATENT APPLIED FOR

A variety of Ear Molds can be selected to provide varying degrees of noise attenuation, fit and comfort (CUSTOM EAR MOLDS ARE RECOMMENDED). A set of custom fitted Ear Molds can provide up to 56 decibels of noise attenuation (HEARING PROTECTION). A single Ear Mold can be provided for use in a location that does not require as much ear protection. For comparison; a head set style of hearing protectors only provide 24 to 26 decibels of attenuation.
